Lexington
Medical Center has been serving the area since 1971. Its
founders had but one purpose in mind and that philosophy still
persists today. It is best expressed in the Hospital's mission
statement, "to provide quality health services that meet the
needs of our community."
1993 saw the
establishment of the Founder Society. The Society was developed
to honor and encourage those special individuals who support
this mission through their personal philanthropy.
The Lexington
Medical Center Foundation has enjoyed tremendous support from
the community. Its only reason for existence is to develop and
provide resources for the hospital. The Founder Society is just
that....interested individuals who are committed to providing
the philanthropic foundation upon which the Medical Center can
grow and prosper.
Membership in
the Founder Society identifies this especially significant
segment of our community as deserving of a variety of special
benefits in appreciation of their efforts.
